Jane Fonda inks Deal to promote fitness programs for baby boomers

Jane Fonda isn't slowing down anytime soon. News, through press releases from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, this morning that Jane Fonda will face a new set of targeting baby boomers health and fitness.Lionsgate Home Entertainment plans to release two titles by Jane Fonda: Jane Fonda: strike the first time and Jane Fonda: first time Fit & Strong. both programs with Jane Fonda are due out on November 30, 2010.

Reflecting an overall strategy allying himself with world-class, partner brand in all its undertakings, LIONSGATE (NYSE: LGF), the study of next generation leader, has signed a distribution agreement of home entertainment with Jane Fonda, the two time Oscar winning actress and pioneer of fitness that first coined the term "training" in the 1980s. Thanks to an agreement with Fonda, Lionsgate has acquired the DVD, digital distribution rights for new line and international fitness legend of workouts geared for over 100 million American baby boomers and seniors who focuses on health, well-being, vitality and longevity. The deal was announced by Anne Parducci, Lionsgate Home Entertainment EVP of Marketing and Family Entertainment.

The study is scheduled for release of two titles by Jane Fonda, Jane Fonda: strike the first time and Jane Fonda: first time Fit & strong, 30 November 2010. Since 1982, Fonda has released over 20 top selling fitness videos, with his first release video marketing alone over 17 million copies and is still the highest fitness video of sales of all time.Paused by the fitness scene, Fonda returns since 1995 at the age of 72 years with the brand-new fitness DVD and shares how to stay active is the key to successful aging, offering fun, safe and effective workouts that strengthen and tone muscles, improve the brain and body functions and support global health and well-being.

With a market share of 31% in category fitness, Lionsgate has one of the most extensive libraries of fitness and high profile in the field and is home to the biggest names and most successful in fitness including Jillian Michaels, the biggest loser, dancing with the stars and Denise Austin.They boast already ten of the top twenty DVD fitness in 2010, with six placing in the first eight. franchise hit Other managed by Studio fitness include larger and more celebrities-approved yoga studio Yogaworks, theatrical and brand as Dirty Dancing and hunger.This year the powerhouse of fitness is also shaking things up with the launch of Billy Blanks Jr., son of legendary creator Tae Bo.
