Buying a business of 1000 miles away from your home could scare off many potential in-vestors. But Dennis and Teresa Steinman, the new owners of the two Snap Fitness facilities in great falls, have a couple of useful insights.
First of all, the pair of Minneapolis was already part-owners of Mountain Fitness, the parent company of local Snap Fitness franchise. the owner of majority was Kyle Eckmann, married the sister of Dennis Steinman.
"Kyle was ready to expand its other franchise, great clips hair salons, so we decided to buy him and buy these clubs," said Dennis Steinman.
Snap fitness, fitness center 24 hours a day, seven-day a week offering cardio, weight equipment and training staff, open to 2104 10 Viale s. in December 2007 to 124 Northwest ignores the following year. Since then, the business was good.
"I think this generation is more tuned in fitness and health, and people like this concept, be able to enter at any time," said Steinman.
As the sole owners, the Steinmans will assume functions like payroll and pay the Bills, but day-to-day operations and customer service remain the responsibility of Michele Reynolds Club Manager.
Reynolds is the sister of Thérèse Steinman.
"This is a big plus because so far we are away," said Dennis Steinman.
However, this distance could reduce in the future.
"My wife is Great Falls High School in 1981," said Steinman. "We have a daughter who frequents Carroll College and fell in love with Montana. Finally, we would move here. "
